We rebuild what no longer has a drawing

An exhaust manifold surveyed and brought back to a clean CAD model, ready to be modified or reproduced. With the same method we rebuilt the body and cabin of a complete vehicle.

When the manufacturer no longer exists or the part is off-catalogue, reverse engineering is the way to get your spare part back.

How reconstruction works

Four steps from the broken component to a ready-to-fit part.

  1. Start with what you have

    The broken component, an old drawing or photos with the measurements: that is enough to begin.

  2. We assess feasibility

    We tell you whether it can be rebuilt, with which materials and tolerances, at what lead time and price. The feasibility fee is modest and we deduct it from the quote if you proceed.

  3. We rebuild and produce

    We remake the component with materials, treatments and tolerances suited to its function. We don’t just copy the part that is already worn out.

  4. We deliver the part ready to fit

    You get the component ready to fit, with a technical dossier. We archive the project: the next reorder doesn’t start from scratch.

FAQ about reverse engineering and spare parts

Yes. From the component, dimensioned photos or an old drawing we get what we need for the assessment and the reconstruction.

Yes. We can stop at the CAD model and 2D drawings, which remain yours: you can use them to produce in-house, for a supply tender or as the basis for a redesign.

The feasibility assessment takes a few working days. Rebuilding a single spare part generally takes weeks, not months: the exact time depends on materials, treatments and machining, and we confirm it together with the price before you commit.

Yes. Absolute confidentiality on the customer’s drawings, components and know-how. For us it is a baseline condition.

Not for now. We stay away from safety-critical parts and items covered by an active patent, and we tell you during the assessment.

Functional warranty: if the component doesn’t fulfil the agreed function, we remake it. It doesn’t cover wear from use.
